It is with great pleasure that WaveMe get to make an appearance again at the beautiful Coombesgate beach. On the green at the top of the steps. We very much enjoy meeting the wonderful holiday makers and locals who have supported this amazing beach brand since the very start. Catch us on your way to Woolacombe from your Twitchen House forest walk or on the way to Woolacombe from the stunning Morthoe. There are so many reasons why this is one of our favourite spots - the views are out of this world to name just one.
Pop-up-shop Downend Car Park Croyde
One of WaveMe's favourite iconic surfing spots ever. This exciting new beach brand has been very welcomed by the wonderful holiday makers and locals of Croyde and surrounding areas that it is always a pleasure travelling to be with Downend Car park in Croyde, Devon. The views as you travel in are breathtaking and the vibe is most certainly that of joyful beachlife.
It's always a pleasure just admiring the wonderful vans and camper-vans but we figure there will be even more now their pop-up-campsite is open for the summer. Can't wait!

Pop-up-shop Wivey
WaveMe was born in the beautiful little country town of Wiveliscombe so it is with great pleasure that once a month the pop-up-shop appears on The Square outside co-op and the best cafe we know. Wheelans Cafe, offer a hearty proper full English breakfast along with coffee, cakes and other delights. A fantastic spot for people watching and re-couping after a cycle, hike or swim at the iconic heated outdoor pool here. Have a wonderful around and check out the local market, have a bite to eat for breakfast and don't forget to visit The Bear Inn for lunch or dinner. Serving wonderful food (The pizzas are delicious), their very own ale (which we personally highly recommend - our all time favourite beer is the Black Bear Bitter and Nanook) and often putting on some fantastic live music in their great outdoor space. There are many reasons to visit us in our hometown, not to mention the fact that you can try on the latest of beach wear for your adventures.

Downend Car park, the home of surf is one of our favourite spots in the country. With gorgeous food being served, the sunset bar and some of the most beautiful sunsets, it's no wonder why we love this Pop-up-shop spot. A surfers paradise and fantastic location in the heart of Devon between some of the most iconic coastal paths and beaches.

Event organised by WaveMe, supported by National Trust & Behaviour Change Cornwall and inspired by our great Kenyan friends from Ocean Sole who Rock The Ocean across the seas.
Saturday 13th July 2024.
Take part and make an impact on our shores and marine preservation with the very first annual Rock The Ocean UK event in Somerset. What a great location for it too, with plenty of space to dance, run around and have fun while next to an iconic landscape full of history.
All equipment is provided for you to collect your own family bag of plastic ocean waste which you can then follow on it’s journey of transformation. WaveMe has teamed up with Behaviour Change Cornwall who will receive our waste once it has been washed and sorted to then transform it into beautiful products from jewellery to coasters which will then be available to purchase from our website as a keepsake and memory of the day.
Come party with us as we rock the ocean with music, food and games - there’s even a sandcastle competition and bubbles.
A great fun day out for the entire family.
Tickets cost:
£8 per car - Non National Trust Members
£5 per car - National Trust Members
Ticket costs cover your parking for the day and funding UK beach cleans. We advise that you car share to keep fuel costs and emissions low and arrive early for a space.
National Trust members can benefit from a discounted ticket but must display a National Trust car park ticket on the day.
Litter collecting is done so at your own risk and we advise that you use the litter pickers and bags provided.
